Field Notes is a column I began eight years ago in the Charleston Mercury newspaper, but as the amount of newsprint in the 'salmon sheets' has diminished, so has the space for my Field Notes photos. Now when I have a fresh bath of observations to post I will reformulate my old column on this blog. I hope everyone enjoys the photos, and gets a look into the Lowcountry Outdoors that I see and appreciate. (Remember to click on the photo to view a full-size image)
