Phil Mickelson wins his second PGA Championship at age 50, at the 2021 PGA Championship at the Ocean Course on Kiawah Island. The PGA Championship switches from Fall dates to Spring dates for the first time, which allowed for the Ocean Course to be in optimum shape before long hot summer days take their toll. Likely no one had Mickelson as the favorite to win, but his veteran savvy and his execution of the tee box allowed him to hoist the Wannamaker trophy once again.
