The Southeastern Wildlife Expo team renewed their partnership with
Garden and Gun magazine in 2019, with a lecture on the sporting landscape. A panel of experts, including
Nemours Wildlife Foundation, delivered their expert opinions beginning with the history of rice culture, all the way up to the modern
NAWCA funding act. The question and answer session revealed that the same challenges are being faced on both the West Coast and the East Coast, with waterfowl conservation a keystone for many other species of wading birds, shorebirds and endangered species like the whooping crane.
