Goldfinch visits Hummingbird Feeder |
Wet weather ruined more than a few feeders full of birdseed in July and August, and the humidity was right around the corner. Some notable wildlife sightings underneath my feeders included twin kit foxes on 7/13 and doe with twin fawns on 8/1, and I had baby Carolina wrens in a hanging basket on July 2. There are some signs of fall migration on the way but in general the weather pattern still favors summer heat.
