2025 Shorebird Celebration Week - Deveaux Bank WHSRN Designation

The South Carolina Shorebird Network helped to promote the shorebird appreciation week that ran from March 24 - 28. An event to salute Deveaux Bank was held at Camp St. Christopher on Seabrook Island on Wednesday, March 26. Abby Sterling from Manomet, and representing the Western Hemisphere Shorebird Reserve Network (WHSRN), presented the SC DNR with a certificate designating Deveaux Bank as a site of International Importance.
