The month of May 2010 marks the 10th Anniversary for the South Carolina Aquarium! There are several celebratory and educational events planned starting with a reception for Charter Members on 5/5, followed by events for children on 5/8, a mother's day holiday on 5/9, and then an entire weekend of 10th Anniversary events on May 14 - 16. For more information visit the Internet at www.scaquarium.org. Just two of the big draws right now at the Aquarium is the Penquin Planet exhibit and the Albino Alligator 'jaw-dropping' display. Later in May will be the Aquarium's Environmental Stewardship Awards Banquet with former Vice-President Al Gore scheduled to be on hand to accept the Legacy Award on May 22.
