The annual end of summer sailing regatta out of Sea Island Yacht Club on Wadmalaw Island was held under flawless conditions, with sunshine and a freshening breeze around the noon start time. Several classes of sailboats competed in three races, while a huge flotilla of spectator boats lined the North Edisto River. The sailboats rocked back and forth in the wind, and the patrons frolicked on their boats and in the water. Ahhh summertime....
