Wide 8-pointer for Lowcountry Newbie

Todd Crandall with a nice Lowcountry 8-pointer
Congrats to Todd Crandall who moved to Colleton County earlier in 2012 from Alabama. Upon arriving in S.C., getting settled in at a new job and into a new house, Crandall decided it was time to get back into deer hunting. He purchased his first S.C. hunt license and just three days later he harvested his personal best BIG buck. Using a climbing stand, and overlooking a hardwood drain, the big buck was moving through the area 'on a mission' to be somewhere else. Crandall heard the big buck first and was ready when it stepped out into a fireline, giving Crandall a clear shot. He made it count. His hunting buddy heard the shot and immediately came over, and they could not believe that this was the big buck they had captured on trail camera earlier in the season. Crandall is ready to get after some more S.C. deer now, but admits that he is also interested in getting his wife and son into the woods. Welcome to the Lowcountry and Good Luck hunting!
