Robert of Atlantic Tackle supports Release Marine |
The Wednesday Captain's Meeting at Bohicket Marina for the 2nd leg of the Governor's Cup will be taking place under overcast skies. Twenty-six battlewagons are in port at the charter dock, ready to fish two out of three days for the tournament title, and for Gov. Cup Series points. The vendors are all set up and the schedule indicates that after the Captain's meeting, a grilled mahi mahi dinner will be held, followed by a band on the lawn outside Red's. Complimentary boiled peanuts outside Frasier's store will help tide anglers over until dinner each night of the Bohicket Marina event. Other events of note: Thursday night will feature a silent auction to benefit local schools from 7 until 9, Friday will see Bobby Hartin's Fantalk radio show visit the marina, and Saturday is Casino night after the awards ceremony. Nightly sunsets from Bohicket are hard to beat so make some plans to come on down and join the Governor's Cup competitors live the saltwater lifestyle. Fishing begins on Thursday!
