2012 Carolina Lady Anglers - Fishing For The Cure

Tom Benton and his Sheep Slam

The 2012 Fishing For The Cure tournament fished out of the Charleston Maritime Center on Saturday June 2. The top male angler was Tom Benton after his 'sheep sweep' for taking the top three spots in the sheepshead division with his sheepies that went 9.08, 8.74 and 8.7-pounds respectively!!! Congrats to Deann Hueber for taking the female angler honors with her string of trout that weighed 4.5, 4 and 2.48-pounds. Another catch of note went to Natalie Blake for managing to bring in a 1.68-pound dogfish! Of course, all of the results can be found at Lowcountry Fish Scales, plus more fish photos too.
