Middleton Place Hounds Fox Hunt

On a sunny and crisp 34 degree morning the Middleton Place Hounds were brought to a plantation in the Santee Delta for a fox hunt, despite the wet and swampy conditions. About 25 riders followed the pack of hounds while about 20 fans sought out positions under live oaks well suited for viewing the chase. Memories of past hunts were rekindled for veteran observers, while some pondered how many snipe might be flushed under the current conditions.
