The first full day of the 2010 Southeastern Wildlife Exposition experienced rain during the middle of the day that changed over to snow flurries by the evening hours. The 13th annual East Cooper Chapter DU / SEWE oyster roast was one of the best ever because of the COLD weather and the snow that filtered in to the Visitor's Center Bus Shed while the live auction was going on. Chapter Chairman Mark Hartley said, "This Chapter works hard all year but this event especially helps us to be in the top one-third of one percent of DU chapters in the world in terms of fundraising." Everyone who attended the DU oyster roast enjoyed being a part of the crowd that stands up for hunting and outdoors conservation.
