A 19 boat fleet went fishing on Friday, Day Two at the MegaDock Gov. Cup. Sixteen sailfish were released and Full Pull out of Georgetown reached out and handled two sailfish to surge in to the points lead with 1100 points. Cacique is bumped into second place with 1000 points, but Full Pull is fished out after going back-to-back on Thursday and Friday. The National Weather Service may have a role to play in whether the fleet gets to fish on Saturday with rough ocean conditions reported on Friday and an uncertain overnight forecast. If a small craft advisory is posted at 6 a.m. in the morning, then Day Three of fishing may be canceled via Gov. Cup rules for safety..... so we wait and see what happens in the pre-dawn hours of Saturday.
