The 2011 MegaDock event concluded with an awards dinner by Jim 'n' Nicks catering underneath the MegaTent that just so happened to coincide with a MegaTstorm. The results that were posted after the second day became final, after Day Three was canceled. Lots of anglers took turns heading to the stage area to accept their MegaDock trophies and checks. The final night of the MegaDock drew a large attendance of Governor's Cup participants and supporters, a crowd that travels well from event to event no matter the weather. Looking forward to the final event in the 2011 Gov. Cup Billfishing Series, the fleet will fish from Edisto Marina beginning July 28.
