English setter on point and ready to hunt! |

because it’s the only game in town. The final days of waterfowl season expired
on February 1, and sportsmen can still hunt for squirrel, raccoon, rabbit and

weather spells, February is also the crescendo of quail season, with bird dogs
rounding into shape, and shotguns sounding off in the back woods.
